Charles Salvador (AKA Charles Bronson) has been in prison in the UK since 1974. He has never harmed a woman or child. He was originally sentenced to 4 years for armed robbery but has constantly had his sentence increased due to violence committed whilst being locked up.

Whilst working on an undercover 2 PART investigation, aired on channel 4, TV show 'Bronson - Fit for release' over a six year period, Bronson became friends with journalist George Bamby. Charlie sent George many artworks (177) over this 6 year period and relinquished the copyright of these works, assigning the copyrights to George Bamby. Salvador Gallery is donating 80% of all monies from sales of artworks to GeorgeCoin ($George). The other 20% will be attributed to the costs of maintaining the site and administration for delivery of orders.

Since the TV programme aired, Charlie and George Bamby are no longer in contact due to the normal circumstances of undercover work, which requires journalists to break all ties with their subjects at the conclusion of any investigation / programme.​
